AMBY: Hey So Many Wizards! Thanks for speaking with AMBY, how are you all doing?

So Many Wizards: Doing good. In the middle of recording the next record! Yikes. We’re excited.

AMBY: If you had to describe each member in the band with one word, which word would define them?

So Many Wizards: Erik Felix – Pragmatic, Melody – Psychedelic, Nima – Dreamer, Devin – Innocent

AMBY: We can’t get enough of your song Best Friends– it has such a neat sound! Who or what inspired the track?

So Many Wizards: Nima wrote it while spending a lot of time at Griffin Park. He was in the zone.

So Many Wizards: Inspired by the classic saga of Don Quixote.

AMBY: What’s does the band have planned for 2013?

So Many Wizards: Coming out with a fantastic new record.

AMBY: Your website is great! Where did the idea of the elephant and lion escaping the cabinet come from?

So Many Wizards: Those are the toy animals from the handmade TREE EP’s we used to sell.  We thought it would be funny. Hope you got a smile out of it.

AMBY: If you could tour anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

So Many Wizards: We got to tour the UK last year. That was pretty amazing but we always wanted to tour Japan. Seems like a different world over there. They need some So Many Wizards in their life for sure.

AMBY: Who would be in your ultimate concert line-up?

So Many Wizards: Last year at the Viva Pomona festival it came close to the ultimate.  We got to share the stage with The Babies, Grass Widow and La Sera. OMG city.

AMBY: What would a movie based on the band be called?

So Many Wizards: Never Wake Up: The crazy misadventures of Nima Kazerouni and friends.

AMBY: Which artists would you recommended our readers check out?

So Many Wizards: Check out The Babies, Grass Widow, Pangea, Moses Cambell.

AMBY: And lastly, what’s something about So Many Wizards that nobody knows

So Many Wizards: Erik Felix loves the Lakers more than anyone in L.A.
